Release Notes 6.9

Lantronix is pleased to announce version 6.9 for the Local Manager and Control Center. This document covers LMOS version 6.9 and all subsequent patch sub-releases. Changes made in patch releases are marked with the version number.

  The 500 and 5000 are not supported. Those models are EOL.

• Authentication support for Break Glass User

Improvements

• Support User Lockout after failed authentication attempts on the Control Center
  • Previously this feature only applied to the Local Manager
• TACACS+ requests include client IP
  • Also includes Local Manager IP, if using Authentication Type ‘Control Center’
• Display both hostname and description for each port
• Added Terminal Application setting to prefer SSH over RSSH
• Updated Linux operating system for security patches
  • 50+ RPM updates
