Uploading to the File System¶

Use Lantronix Provisioning Manager to upload files to an IOT device's internal file system. Files can be uploaded to the root of the file system or a new folder, but they can not be uploaded into an existing folder.

Before Uploading¶

Ensure the credentials are set properly in Lantronix Provisioning Manager. See Important Information on Device Credentials for more information.

Upload Process¶

To upload a file to the file system:

1. Click Provision on the side menu.
2. Select one or more devices. They must all be the same type of device (for example, all xPico 250 devices).
3. Click Filesystem Upload.
4. If you want to create a new directory, check the checkbox next to Create Directory and provide the directory name in Directory. If you create a new directory, the file will be uploaded to that directory. Otherwise, the file will be uploaded to the root of the file system.
   
   If you check Create Directory without specifying a directory name, the file will be uploaded to the root of the file system.
5. Click Upload File and select the file to upload.
6. Click Update or press Enter.

Check the Operation Status and Progress columns to see the progress of the file upload.
